<image:caption>I was raised in church and have been active in church all of my life. I started singing at an early age and also learned to play the piano and organ in church. Over the past several years I have enjoyed leading the music for two different churches. Since 2013 I have directed the music program at Woodlawn Baptist. I lead the music in our weekly worship services which contain a mixture of songs that are old and new. I work with our choir on special music and also provide assistance to soloist wanting to sing. <image:caption>When I was 19 years old, I felt the call of God to enter into ministry. For years, I served as part time Minister of Youth in south Alabama before eventually attending New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Upon obtaining my Master's of Divinity degree in Dec 1997, God brought me to north Louisiana to serve Him in various ministries including full-time Minister of Youth, hospice chaplain and NAMB Missionary. I have been a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church since 2012 and have enjoyed serving the Lord and serving the church by teaching Sunday School, and helping lead youth Bible studies and events. I have a passion to teach the Word of God and to engage with fellow believers in His service. https://www.facebook.com/deanna.corbett</image:caption>

      <image:title>Ministries - Shade Tree Missions</image:title>
<image:caption>Shade Tree Missions began in May 2015 through the conviction of Deanna Corbett as she surrendered to full time missions and received an endorsement from the North American Mission Board as a Missions Service Corp Missionary. The theme verse for Shade Tree Missions is Eph 2:10 - "We are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which He has prepared in advance for us so that we may walk in Him." The driving force of the Holy Spirit behind this theme verse is 'See the need, meet the need.' Mission endeavors of Shade Tree include Harvest of Hope Community Garden, 'God's Big Backyard' Bible Club, consistent ministry at Colonial Manor Nursing Home including teaching a weekly Bible Study, consistent ministry at the Richland Parish Detention Center, 'Little Lambs' Snack Pack Ministry, hosting mission teams, etc. Volunteers are welcome to help out with the mission endeavors of Shade Tree Missions. Since northeast Louisiana is one of the most impoverished places in the nation, there is much to do for God's sake.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The purpose that the Lord has clearly given to us as a family is discipleship and our ministry focuses mainly on that. Osmany’s heart is in pastoral training. He works closely with many pastors all over Honduras to help them learn more about God’s word, help teach them how to pastor their churches and support them in any way that he can. We have the New Life Project to share the love of Jesus with over 80 children and their families. Our medical clinic shares the love of Jesus with each person that passes through while doing our best to help them with their physical needs. We also work in the villages close to us to plant churches. There is much need in Honduras, and we are blessed to be called to serve the Lord Jesus there. blessingtothenation.org</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Care and Share Food Bank and Clothing Ministry began in the late 1990's through the Richland Baptist Association and continues to be a thriving ministry today. While the ministry has changed over the years, the main purpose has stayed to same; to provide food for those in Richland Parish who need it. Care and Share receives donations of food, clothes and houseware items in order to run the ministry. Volunteers work to sort, price and stock merchandise, pack food boxes and load them into vehicles, etc. Anyone can shop at the thrift store and 100% of the revenue generated goes to support the food bank ministry. The Care and Share hours are: Tue and Fri 8-12 for the Thrift Store and Food Distribution; and 8-12 on the first Sat of each month for 1/2 Price Thrift Store shopping. Care and Share welcomes volunteers to help out with this ministry.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Ministries - Extreme Missionary Adventures</image:title>
<image:caption>At our core, XMA is about experiential missions – about helping American Christians obey God’s desire for us to take the Gospel to all nations. As Jesus tells us in John 15:16, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you. I appointed you that you should go out and produce fruit…” Our volunteers serve on 8-12 day mission trips where they share the love of Jesus with overlooked people in remote locations around our world and help with human needs such as medical, dental, clean water, construction, educational and other basic needs. xmaonline.com</image:caption>
